This time, we will make vegan kimchi with okra, which originates from Africa.
It’s been a while since I’ve had a vegan kimchi recipe, but unlike usual, I’m going to give you a recipe using salted koji.
I think it’s a kimchi that makes you want to drink beer ^ ・ ^
Let’s start with the ingredients.
Ingredients 材料 재료
・Okra kimchi paste
Peel off the corners of the okra calyx and wash lightly with water.
Hold the salt in your palm and lightly rub it on the okra and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Make okra kimchi paste.
・2 tbsp salted kouji
・1 tbsp soup soy sauce
・2 cloves garlic
・2 tbsp hot pepper flakes
・1 tsp fine red pepper powder
・1 tsp sesame seeds
Mix the ingredients of ① with a blender and combine with ②.
After 30 minutes, wash with water, drain and mix with okra kimchi paste and you’re done.
You can eat it as soon as you make it, but if you put it in the refrigerator for a day and the taste becomes familiar, you can enjoy it more deliciously.
